INSTRUCTIONS

SEASON THE CHICKEN

Season both sides of the chicken thighs generously with salt, black pepper, ground coriander, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and thyme.

BROWN THE CHICKEN

In a large skillet, melt the salted butter over medium heat.

Add the seasoned chicken thighs and cook until golden brown on both sides. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

COOK THE APPLES & ONIONS

Add the chopped onion and sliced apples to the same skillet.

Sprinkle with the brown sugar and cook until the onion is tender and the apples begin to soften.

Pour in the apple cider and stir to combine. Allow it to gently simmer for a few minutes.

FINISH

Return the chicken to the skillet, nestling it into the apples and onions.

Cover and continue cooking until the chicken is fully cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.

If desired, garnish with fresh thyme and rosemary before serving.
